If José Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martyon Diehl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatoliy Lobanov in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 minutes Astreix&ObelixSoccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adam Nørlyk who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute Astreix&ObelixSoccer were awarded a corner. Sacha Lilley went to the cornerflag to take it. If Peng Qi Chong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Qi Chong in the 25th minute of play forced Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragons EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adam Nørlyk in the 27th minute. The corner led Dragons EC's Adam Nørlyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Martyon Diehl despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marek Brayford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peng Qi Chong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Brayford, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. César Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Pinto Brabo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sacha Lilley was the one to do the kick off. Marek Brayford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Casper Huygens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dragons EC's zone, Marek Brayford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Huygens came out of the goal and Marek Brayford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragons EC's Casper Huygens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank McLintock in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Frank McLintock made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dragons EC's Casper Huygens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dragons EC's César Sampaio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Keith Backhouse, made in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Keith Backhouse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Huygens made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when 韩克兴 sent off a good shot on target. Casper Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank McLintock, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Astreix&ObelixSoccer walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
