Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Huygens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anestis Kotsopouloss short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Casper Huygens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatoliy Lobanov in the 14th minute of play. Dragons EC's Adam Nørlyk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but August Hoffmanns in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 19th minute, Anestis Kotsopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Huygens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Huygens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27th play minutes Anatoliy Lobanov shot 1-1, a short shot which went by August Hoffmanns and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 29th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Henning to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anestis Kotsopoulos. After 38 minutes Dragons EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximilian Henning who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hakem Al Khames almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dragons EC's Casper Huygens did a great save. In the 40th minute, Anestis Kotsopoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Huygens. The goal made the score 2-1. Anatoliy Lobanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere.

51 minutes into the match, Anestis Kotsopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Huygens. Dragons EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anestis Kotsopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Anatoliy Lobanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but August Hoffmanns made a huge save. Dragons EC's Casper Huygens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Huygens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Rot-Weiss-Essen fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anatoliy Lobanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anatoliy Lobanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but August Hoffmanns made a huge save. A hard shot 68 in the game by Anatoliy Lobanov from a close distance when the talented August Hoffmanns managed to make a qualified save. Rot-Weiss-Essen's players were relieved. Anestis Kotsopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Anestis Kotsopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragons EC's Casper Huygens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casper Huygens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Henning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Huygens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragons EC's goalie prevented a goal. Dragons EC's Nilson Bastos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hakem Al Khames in the 77 minute of the game. Casper Huygens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Henning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 83rd minute of play forced Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragons EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute Anestis Kotsopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anestis Kotsopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rot-Weiss-Essen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dragons EC for a fine match.
