When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Thomas Vollmar sped through Dragons EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Casper Huygens. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United from getting a goal against them. Anatoliy Lobanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Malicki in the 21st minute of play forced Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Dragons EC defense, Pankracy Malicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Huygens. The Dragons EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Huygens should have stopped the shot. Mikolaj Jerzyk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anatoliy Lobanov went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Vollmar in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Huygens saved Dragons EC from getting behind. Thomas Vollmar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Dragons EC's Adam Nørlyk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mikolaj Jerzyk. Mikolaj Jerzyk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Dragons EC's Benê Sergipano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zé Paulo Zonta, made in the 45th minute of the game. Zé Paulo Zonta hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatoliy Lobanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Casper Huygens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 51st minute of the match. In the 51stth minute of the game Thomas Vollmar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragons EC's Casper Huygens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoliy Lobanov in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Pankracy Malicki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 55th minute of play forced Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Anatoliy Lobanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Thomas Vollmar came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Newcastle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Vollmar couldn't finish the play. Anatoliy Lobanov took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikolaj Jerzyk. Mikolaj Jerzyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. A hard shot 68 in the game by Thomas Vollmar from a close distance when the talented Casper Huygens managed to make a qualified save. Dragons EC's players were relieved. Anatoliy Lobanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikolaj Jerzyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dragons EC's zone, Kajetan Kochniarczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Huygens came out of the goal and Kajetan Kochniarczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pankracy Malicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Casper Huygens made a huge save. In the 76thth minute of the game Anatoliy Lobanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomas Vollmar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Casper Huygens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zé Paulo Zonta got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marian Erland. In the 87th minute, Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casper Huygens. Casper Huygens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. 91 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Anatoliy Lobanov came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Newcastle United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dragons EC.
