An unexpectedly hard shot by Menios Tsirkos in the 3rd minute of play forced Herberia Herons's goalkeeper Diego Mian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MICE F.C.'s Christos Perivolakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save MICE F.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Herberia Herons getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Andrea Strano hit a great ball. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Herberia Herons's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panos Kavaliaratos was slow to take the kick. During this time MICE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Panos Kavaliaratos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Diego Mian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lv Hai Chong succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristoforo De Tommasi got free with Christos Perivolakis in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 minutes MICE F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armando Marchesani who took care of the corner kick. Christos Perivolakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Basso in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Lv Hai Chong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Mian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lv Hai Chong in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Mian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, MICE F.C.'s Lv Hai Chong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Mian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Diego Mian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Skondras's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes of play, MICE F.C.'s Dimitris Skondras made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Mian was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Herberia Herons's Giuseppe Basso got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dimitris Skondras made the kick off in the second half. Lv Hai Chong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Mian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of MICE F.C. booed when Herberia Herons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo De Tommasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Skondras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Mian was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Dimitris Skondras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Mian. The goal made the score 0-4. Herberia Herons made a substitution. Alfredo Ranieri replaced Ercole Bizzarri. A collision led to MICE F.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ding Hakimi hit a great ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herberia Herons's goalkeeper Diego Mian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Herberia Herons's Diego Mian got control of the ball when Zinédine Papoutsiadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zinédine Papoutsiadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Diego Mian made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Memphis Lundquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christos Perivolakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Guidone in the 96th minute of the match.
