Gabbro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustave Paelinck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Roma Capoccia's Jan-Joost Werner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Langsford in the 17th minute of play. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Cambranes in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Atroce came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edvard Slæggerup was the one to do the kick off. Roma Capoccia's Jan-Joost Werner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Slæggerup in the 54th minute of play. Gerrit Mortier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvard Slæggerup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Joost Werner having to interfere. If Edvard Slæggerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st match minute, Roma Capoccia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felice Farese to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match Wieslaw Wawro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Joost Werner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Gabbro FC's Wieslaw Wawro got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jan-Joost Werner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Slæggerup in the 77th minute of play. Jan-Joost Werner was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 80 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Mortier came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Edvard Slæggerup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabbro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Slæggerup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Joost Werner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Mancinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustave Paelinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Joost Werner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvard Slæggerup's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Gabbro FC's Fedele Di Prinzio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eraldo Pasquale in the 88 minute of the game. 90 minutes into the game, Nicholas Langsford cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Jan-Joost Werner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Eraldo Albani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Tolino, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Roma Capoccia's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gabbro FC had won, even though Roma Capoccia had held more of the ball.
