Amos Colagrossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Pallini in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Cesare Boldrini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alvaro Pardini saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 28 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Nel. Alvaro Pardini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paşa Palla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Amos Colagrossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Pallini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Nel. Biagio Pallini might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amos Colagrossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Biagio Pallini ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute Biagio Pallini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Colagrossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Pardini made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Aristides Nel sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute, Ettore Scarcella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Foot Ball Club di Roma made a substitution. Biagio Scoca replaced Biagio Pallini. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olov Holmberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Murillo Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the L.R. Vicenza and the Foot Ball Club di Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Scoca in the 66th minute of play forced L.R. Vicenza's goalkeeper Amos Colagrossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Pardini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Vicenza booed when Foot Ball Club di Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Scarcella didn't get a good kick on the ball. L.R. Vicenza's Olov Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amos Colagrossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Scoca, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Amos Colagrossi made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Bryan Cristante sent off a good shot on target. Amos Colagrossi came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Scoca. But to his dismay, Biagio Scoca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Aldo Pesce was substituted for Niccolo Zaniolo. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
