Hervé Annette struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alessandro Mancinelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rathmore Lime Tree. Alessandro Mancinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoît Lamarre in the 28th minute of the match. The throw-in from Brandon Pardon in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gabbro FC's Nicholas Langsford. If Edvard Slæggerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bakary Guinaudeau kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Wieslaw Wawro, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Adil Magaud's late challenge caught a Gabbro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adil Magaud helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adil Magaud to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Benoît Lamarre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavian Garcon was the one to do the kick off. If Antonio Ciraci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvard Slæggerup's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sofyane Valognes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Ciraci in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rathmore Lime Tree's zone, Edvard Slæggerup stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal and Edvard Slæggerup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 58 in the game by Flavian Garcon from a close distance when the talented Alessandro Mancinelli managed to make a qualified save. Gabbro FC's players were relieved. After having played for 61 minutes, Edvard Slæggerup managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gabbro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvard Slæggerup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edvard Slæggerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Edvard Slæggerup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sofyane Valognes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edvard Slæggerup's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sofyane Valognes was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
