Reilly McSteven came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugenio Cortez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Eugenio Cortez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Caher's Reilly McSteven. Reilly McSteven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the game, Lewy Delaney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caher's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvarado the free kick. Lewy Delaney hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Caher's Reilly McSteven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Caher from getting a goal against them. Reilly McSteven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes, Torin Ghee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caher and the Alvarado players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Caher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torin Ghee to maneuver through the defense. When Caher's Adamnan Crowe in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alvarado's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute of the game Segundo Martxot made a throw-in which Orlando Hodei played forward. With a little luck, Caher's Reilly McSteven got control of the ball when Eugenio Cortez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Eugenio Cortez could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Reilly McSteven however easily saved by the left post. Eugenio Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Reilly McSteven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Reilly McSteven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Caher's Adamnan Crowe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Mikelar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alvarado's Segundo Martxot got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Cortez in the 62nd minute of play forced Caher's goalkeeper Reilly McSteven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reilly McSteven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Alvarado's Nemesio Birjaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reilly McSteven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Reilly McSteven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Cortez in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Eugenio Cortez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvarado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adamnan Crowe got free with Alberto Mikelar in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Eugenio Cortez made a precise shot to the right of Reilly McSteven. Caher's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Torin Ghee hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Reilly McSteven didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Cortez went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 88 played minutes Caher got a freekick which was hit by Triain McIan. 91 minutes into the game, Alvarado's Eugenio Cortez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reilly McSteven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Caher's Reilly McSteven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Cortez in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Alvarado players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
