Corcado FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xinto Jonsansoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 15 played minutes CD Ultra XXI got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Durazo. Navarro Irulegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zilar Noguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Bernaldo Peramato struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Navarro Irulegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corcado FC. CD Ultra XXI's Xinto Jonsansoro got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Carlos-Alberto Retortillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Ultra XXI's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos-Alberto Retortillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Arellano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Arellano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xinto Jonsansoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zilar Noguer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Carlos-Alberto Retortillo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the CD Ultra XXI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos-Alberto Retortillo couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Demesio Quiroz made a precise shot to the right of Navarro Irulegui. CD Ultra XXI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. CD Ultra XXI's Xinto Jonsansoro got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CD Ultra XXI's Ricardo Lizarazu got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Corcado FC's Desiderio Arellano got control of the ball when Xinto Jonsansoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Xinto Jonsansoro came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the CD Ultra XXI fans jumped to their feet. CD Ultra XXI's Navarro Irulegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zilar Noguer in the 84th minute of play. Navarro Irulegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernaldo Peramato in the 85th minute of the match. Navarro Irulegui came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Corcado FC's Che Granell. But to his dismay, Che Granell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Carlos-Alberto Retortillo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CD Ultra XXI's zone, Demesio Quiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Navarro Irulegui came out of the goal and Demesio Quiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Che Granell made a precise shot to the right of Navarro Irulegui. CD Ultra XXI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Corcado FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
