Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eugenio Cortez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mark Colon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Alberto Mikelar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 10 minutes into the game, Alvarado's Eugenio Cortez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erauso Moreyre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alberto Mikelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Pujol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvarado's Alberto Mikelar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Alvarado from getting a goal against them. Fernando Abendaño had several of the Alvarado's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Alberto Mikelar as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erauso Moreyre was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Abendaño in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Mikelar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erauso Moreyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Cortez in the 29th minute of play. Marcelo Nahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erauso Moreyre having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La banda pirata's Orlo Edeon got a free kick in the 32nd minute. La banda pirata's Erauso Moreyre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Sidro in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Abendaño in the 35th minute of play forced Alvarado's goalkeeper Alberto Mikelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Fausto Gormaz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alvarado's Santiago Franco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in La banda pirata's zone, Eugenio Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erauso Moreyre came out of the goal and Eugenio Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Bernabe Soler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Alvarado's goal looked a bit too open when Lauaxeta Taranco came free, but Alberto Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Mikelar made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Marko Pujol sent off a good shot on target. Eugenio Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Erauso Moreyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Eugenio Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvarado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Abendaño made a kick off. Bernabe Soler kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Erauso Moreyre came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvarado's Eugenio Cortez. But to his dismay, Eugenio Cortez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Alberto Mikelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauaxeta Taranco in the 62nd minute of the match. Eugenio Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Abendaño in the 66th minute of play forced Alvarado's goalkeeper Alberto Mikelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Mark Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Fernando Abendaño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erauso Moreyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Cortez in the 79th minute of play. Eugenio Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eugenio Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Erauso Moreyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erauso Moreyre was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Eugenio Cortez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eugenio Cortez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Fausto Gormaz charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Gormaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Fausto Gormaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Alvarado left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La banda pirata.
