When Eloi Capelo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canturria FC's protests and gave Eloi Capelo a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Canturria FC got a freekick which was hit by Eloi Capelo. Zilar Noguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Irazu having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Canturria FC's Haitz Hermosilla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Haitz Hermosilla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Canturria FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Haitz Hermosilla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Corcado FC a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tito Imaz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canturria FC's Edelmiro Irazu. 0-1. 25 minutes in the game, Feliberto Varez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Desiderio Arellano having to interfere. Desiderio Arellano made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Geofredo Arnero sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Demesio Quiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corcado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Demesio Quiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Irazu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zilar Noguer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geofredo Arnero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th match minute, Canturria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Varez to maneuver through the defense. Corcado FC's Zilar Noguer got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canturria FC's Geofredo Arnero got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Canturria FC booed when Corcado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Che Granell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geofredo Arnero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Desiderio Arellano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifaco Yaner struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Desiderio Arellano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canturria FC. When Feliberto Varez came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Canturria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Varez couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Lourenco Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Canturria FC's Edelmiro Irazu got control of the ball when Demesio Quiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Desiderio Arellano came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Canturria FC's Geofredo Arnero. But to his dismay, Geofredo Arnero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 85th minute, Roger Zumel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Feliberto Varez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canturria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Varez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Arellano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geofredo Arnero might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Arellano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geofredo Arnero ran back to his position shaking his head. Canturria FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
