The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Porfiro got free with Loco Gatti in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Savinov came free, but Loco Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sportivo Mela Banco's Loco Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Mela Banco from getting a goal against them. In the 39thth minute of the game Siro Porfiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Mela Banco's Loco Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Mela Banco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar to make the kick off.
