Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ma Mo Feng in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lagrima en Jarrita's Lu Bin Cheng got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietro Salles in the 43rd minute of play forced Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ma Mo Feng to make the kick off. Loco Malo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Saturno in the 58th minute.
