Elpidio Espiridion started the match with the kick off. Hilario Luix's late challenge caught a Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Luix helped the player get up and apologised. Hilario Luix hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Pietro Salles took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Mark. Bernardino Mark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietro Salles in the 8th minute of play forced LA IMPRENTA's goalkeeper Bernardino Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sepúlveda in the 10th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Sepúlveda came free, but Nicasio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, LA IMPRENTA's Nicasio Abad threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elpidio Espiridion, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Salles in the 15th minute of play. Bernardino Mark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Salles in the 16th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Iago. In the 20th minute of the match, Liu Chang Hong tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicasio Abad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After taking down the ball on LA IMPRENTA's corner Hilario Luix fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicasio Abad quite easily take care of the ball. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Espiridion, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Chang Hong got free with Nicasio Abad in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pietro Salles scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardino Mark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to LA IMPRENTA getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Aaron Duarte hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Pietro Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Espiridion. Aaron Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The supporters of LA IMPRENTA booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçe Yalazalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sepúlveda in the 56th minute of play. Bernardino Mark was a little too slow when Pietro Salles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-3. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s William Lebigot was substituted for Sergio Saturno. After a rather tough play, LA IMPRENTA's Moises Rojelio got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Blas Frances hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s zone, Liu Chang Hong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Abad came out of the goal and Liu Chang Hong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardino Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Blomkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Chang Hong in the 72nd minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alvaro Loria fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA IMPRENTA's protests and gave Alvaro Loria a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardino Mark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Liu Chang Hong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Abad. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liu Chang Hong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Kosmas Banasopoulos was substituted for Joel Enekoitz. 89 minutes into the match, LA IMPRENTA's goalkeeper Bernardino Mark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Blomkvist. Peter Blomkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Bernardino Mark made a huge save. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA IMPRENTA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kosmas Banasopoulos was slow to take the kick. During this time Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s players had a chance to rest. Bernardino Mark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 93rd minute.
