An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Mo Feng in the 2nd minute of play forced Sitges FC's goalkeeper Sinforoso Candamil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Lagrima en Jarrita's Lu Bin Cheng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sinforoso Candamil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 7 played minutes Sitges FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Caminero. Gorri Fonticoba struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Loco Malo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sitges FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Mo Feng in the 11th minute of play forced Sitges FC's goalkeeper Sinforoso Candamil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Lu Bin Cheng made a precise shot to the right of Sinforoso Candamil. Sitges FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Loco Malo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Alejo Caminero sent off a good shot on target. Loco Malo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorri Fonticoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sinforoso Candamil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonello Messias took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sinforoso Candamil. Sinforoso Candamil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Loco Malo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Uria in the 30th minute. The Sitges FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sinforoso Candamil should have stopped the shot. Sinforoso Candamil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Mo Feng in the 46th minute of play. Ma Mo Feng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sinforoso Candamil having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Larry Herrera to make the kick off. Sitges FC's Sinforoso Candamil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonello Messias in the 52nd minute of play. Sitges FC's Sinforoso Candamil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonello Messias in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Aristide Ştefănoiu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sinforoso Candamil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 72 minutes, Marcio Toxeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sitges FC and the Lagrima en Jarrita players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kong Hao Xi got free with Sinforoso Candamil in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
