Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tran Vrolijcx in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sean Van Dijck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kamiel Ingelborgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 11th minute, Joris De Raeve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limburg United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Ad Fundum from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tran Vrolijcx in the 16th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sean Van Dijck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tran Vrolijcx went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Terwenhout came free, but Kamiel Ingelborgh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Limburg United's Fabian Orellana to fire away a dangerous shot which Kamiel Ingelborgh despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kamiel Ingelborgh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris De Raeve in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Terwenhout came free, but Kamiel Ingelborgh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brend Vanden Driessche in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamiel Ingelborgh saved Ad Fundum from getting behind. With a little luck, Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh got control of the ball when Brend Vanden Driessche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sean Van Dijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tran Vrolijcx, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tran Vrolijcx in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Ad Fundum got a corner. Limburg United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manfred Bruse ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Aurel Cornea to score against Sean Van Dijck in Limburg United's goal. 1-2 after 38 minutes. Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brend Vanden Driessche in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Tran Vrolijcx made the kick off in the second half. Sean Van Dijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordi Paschiers, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Ad Fundum were awarded a corner. Manfred Bruse went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Tran Vrolijcx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sean Van Dijck was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Jordi Paschiers came free, but Sean Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarno Van Dyck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Sean Van Dijck managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ad Fundum's Tran Vrolijcx fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With 78 minutes on the clock, Pierre-Paul Van Dijck commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ad Fundum fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Aurel Cornea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sean Van Dijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Limburg United manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ad Fundum to win.
