A collision led to SV Balverliefd getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Harmen Kloppenburg hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Laurence Soens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Steven Homan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in SV Balverliefd's zone, Frans Van Caubergen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yorrick Zoethout came out of the goal and Frans Van Caubergen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Steven Homan managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Balverliefd's supporters rose to their feet, but Steven Homan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waud De Geyter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute of the match, Damazy Radzyminski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yorrick Zoethout saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 24 minutes into the game, Izydor Czysta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silver Squad AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Balverliefd the free kick. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Izydor Czysta hit a great ball. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Homan in the 27th minute of play. Benjamin Carberry's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yorrick Zoethout firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benjamin Carberry who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Yorrick Zoethout when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loid De Keuster. With a little luck, SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout got control of the ball when Benjamin Carberry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steven Homan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Homan in the 36th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yorrick Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Litenboks in the 40th minute of play. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Homan in the 42nd minute of play. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix van As, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix van As came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Homan made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Felix van As got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven Homan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Steven Homan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yorrick Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Radzyminski in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Steven Homan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Balverliefd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 75th minute, SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid De Keuster in the 79th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Steven Homan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waud De Geyter, 0-5. After 89 minutes of play, SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waud De Geyter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Homan in the 94th minute of play. Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. SV Balverliefd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
