Limburg United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabian Orellana in the 5th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Laurence Soens put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Silver Squad AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Limburg United:s goal. Waud De Geyter had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Fredrik Terwenhout's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Emanuel Coekelbergh might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waud De Geyter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Coekelbergh ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Coekelbergh in the 14th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Damazy Radzyminski hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Loid De Keuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Van Dijck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sean Van Dijck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loid De Keuster in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, Silver Squad AFC's Loid De Keuster ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sean Van Dijck. Sean Van Dijck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Limburg United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henrik Ooms was slow to take the kick. During this time Silver Squad AFC's players had a chance to rest. Loid De Keuster made a great header on Silver Squad AFC's corner, it was just that Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Loid De Keuster put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sean Van Dijck. Sean Van Dijck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Van Caubergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Coekelbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After taking down the ball on Silver Squad AFC's corner Henrik Ooms fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sean Van Dijck quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Froilan Abar got a free kick in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Sean Van Dijck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Radzyminski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sean Van Dijck came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Silver Squad AFC's Loid De Keuster. But to his dismay, Loid De Keuster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Loid De Keuster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter got control of the ball when Brend Vanden Driessche tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match, Brend Vanden Driessche got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waud De Geyter was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 71 minutes, Loid De Keuster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silver Squad AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loid De Keuster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Frans Van Caubergen notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck. Sean Van Dijck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Damazy Radzyminski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Van Dijck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Loid De Keuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Van Dijck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, Silver Squad AFC's Loid De Keuster made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sean Van Dijck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damazy Radzyminski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Van Dijck having to interfere. Pieter-Maarten Van Beets hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Ooms in the 86th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Frans Van Caubergen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sean Van Dijck. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sean Van Dijck should have stopped the shot. Loid De Keuster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silver Squad AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
