But to his dismay, Jérémy Doku quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Ulan Bator Football Club's Kieth Hacke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hendrik Herremans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jérémy Doku in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hendrik Herremans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes, Mickael den Pelsmaeker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limburg United and the Ulan Bator Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Limburg United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ulan Bator Football Club:s goal. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Jérémy Doku kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hendrik Herremans. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hendrik Herremans should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Kieth Hacke fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hendrik Herremans, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérémy Doku in the 31st minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Hendrik Herremans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Ulan Bator Football Club were awarded a corner. Stephan Vanneste went to the cornerflag to take it. Hendrik Herremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jérémy Doku, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ball Packert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Jonckers in the 35th minute of the match. The long shot by Stephan Vanneste in the 39th minute really tested Hendrik Herremans's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hendrik Herremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kieth Hacke, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Hendrik Herremans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattheo Smeulders in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jérémy Doku stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Gunter Jansens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Kieth Hacke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Herremans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulan Bator Football Club were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Limburg United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stephan Vanneste took the corner. Stephan Vanneste made a great header on Ulan Bator Football Club's corner, it was just that Limburg United's Hendrik Herremans managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 59th minute, Willy Smidts had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob Thielens during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bob Thielens kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Hendrik Herremans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jérémy Doku in the 62nd minute of play. Jérémy Doku might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hendrik Herremans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jérémy Doku ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66thth minute of the game Jérémy Doku who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limburg United's Hendrik Herremans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Stephan Vanneste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ulan Bator Football Club getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Felix Gysemans hit a great ball. Ball Packert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joop Hollandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Jérémy Doku ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hendrik Herremans was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jérémy Doku's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendrik Herremans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Ulan Bator Football Club's Toon Teunens was substituted for Jérémy Doku. Limburg United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gunter Jansens in the 84th minute. The corner ended in Gunter Jansens almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ulan Bator Football Club's Ball Packert did a great save. 87 minutes into the match, Ulan Bator Football Club's Toon Teunens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hendrik Herremans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ball Packert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Thielens in the 88th minute of play. Jason Jonckers scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ball Packert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ball Packert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Thielens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Toon Teunens came free, but Hendrik Herremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Toon Teunens put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hendrik Herremans. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ulan Bator Football Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Limburg United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
