KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Cromvelde from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute Bjorn Van de Weijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Twelve Ravens booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. The KFC Cromvelde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Louis Van Bever should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Twelve Ravens fans cheered their team off the field, for while KFC Cromvelde had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
