Despite this Nils Elmhuus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 8 minutes into the match, Sebastian Käller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils Elmhuus. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Käller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Henrik Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Denmark's Teddy Tholsted sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isak Jacobsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denmark's Nils Elmhuus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Randy Bastard in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sweden's Fredric Hybbert. Sweden's Sebastian Käller got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Tholsted in the 40th minute of play forced Sweden's goalkeeper Isak Jacobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Sweden's Sebastian Käller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Elmhuus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Sweden booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randy Bastard didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Præstvang in the 47th minute of play forced Sweden's goalkeeper Isak Jacobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

59 minutes in the game, Sebastian Käller dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Nils Elmhuus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 61st minute of play. Isak Jacobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Tholsted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Elmhuus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Sweden's Ivar Lindqvist was substituted for Einar Hedström. Denmark's Nichlas Glastrup was substituted for Teddy Tholsted. Sweden made a substitution. Jörgen Levander replaced Sebastian Käller. Denmark's Sigismund Ravnskjold was substituted for Børge Buhr. Denmark:s Nils Elmhuus showed great skill when he stopped Jörgen Levander:s penalty. 91 minutes into the match, Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Nichlas Glastrup came free, but Isak Jacobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Lindqvist in the 92nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Jörgen Levander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Elmhuus. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Elmhuus should have stopped the shot.
