In the 4th minute, Loco Durazno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Prior was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Loco Durazno took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Prior. Angelo Prior dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Svenn Matzke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Prior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the MILLONARIOS FC defense, Mats Nyström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Prior. The MILLONARIOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Prior should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Christoffer Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoffer Blomqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Lundqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Prior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 31st minute of the match. Anders Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Blomqvist in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Mats Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Tönnberg made a great header on Golden Lions FC's corner, it was just that MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior managed to reach the ball for a save. Christoffer Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Björn Björkqvist got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Christoffer Blomqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Lundqvist. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. The MILLONARIOS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Golden Lions FC were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mats Nyström to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loco Durazno got free with Angelo Prior in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Loco Durazno took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Angelo Prior to make any attempt to save it. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Burç Tokhan replaced Loco Durazno. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Burç Tokhan. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Dzierwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. MILLONARIOS FC's Christoffer Blomqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burç Tokhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Burç Tokhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelo Prior. Burç Tokhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5.
