Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Blomkvist in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ritchie Stansfield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Stansfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Feliberto Distiratsu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicasio Abad. Feliberto Distiratsu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Tomaszewski in the 20th minute of play. Ritchie Stansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Demircioğlu in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Blomkvist came free, but Ritchie Stansfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes Real Ayuntamiento CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Demircioğlu who took care of the corner kick. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Ahmet Demircioğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ritchie Stansfield in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ritchie Stansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 46th minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Ritchie Stansfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Peter Blomkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Real Ayuntamiento CF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Amir Rrahmani hit a great ball. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Cucao in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Pietro Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Stansfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şehzade Mustafa hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Blažej Blazejowski struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Nicasio Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Ayuntamiento CF. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blažej Blazejowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ritchie Stansfield came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles. But to his dismay, Pietro Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Faustino Frichoso was substituted for Blažej Blazejowski. 80 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Frichoso came free, but Nicasio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ritchie Stansfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Salles in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute Pietro Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Stansfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
