Sinforoso Candamil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sitges FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emesto Muñagorri 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Joselito Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joselito Varela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when Sitges FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joselito Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Larry Herrera to strike the kick off in the second half. Mátyás Lisztes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Uria in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Emesto Muñagorri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sinforoso Candamil was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 62 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Herrera came free, but Mátyás Lisztes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Larry Herrera put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mátyás Lisztes. Sitges FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
