The corner ended in Stasio Domarecki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saiko FC's Giuseppe de Carvalho did a great save. After 8 minutes of play, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Krzysztof Psotka made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giuseppe de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karol Serwach made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Elias Estefan sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Saiko FC's Waldir Mandrak to fire away a dangerous shot which Karol Serwach despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Leandro Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saiko FC's protests and gave Leandro Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Garcia hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Giuseppe de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Chowaniec in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Liberko in the 21st minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Rafal Grajewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MKS Pogoń Szczecin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Saiko FC's Giuseppe de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Chowaniec in the 28th minute of play. Giuseppe de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roch Chowaniec's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Chowaniec came free, but Giuseppe de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roch Chowaniec made a kick off. Izydor Liberko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe de Carvalho having to interfere. Giuseppe de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 85th minute Florian Psotka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Roch Chowaniec recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giuseppe de Carvalho. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
