Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atak Birhan in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, demir idmanyurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Emesto Muñagorri came free, but Sinan Ilgınlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sinan Ilgınlı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Almási, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the demir idmanyurdu defense, Emesto Muñagorri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sinan Ilgınlı. The demir idmanyurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sinan Ilgınlı should have stopped the shot. With 43 minutes on the clock, Gazanfer Zeynur commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gazanfer Zeynur kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Atak Birhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. demir idmanyurdu's supporters rose to their feet, but Atak Birhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atak Birhan to make the kick off. Szolnoki MÁV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave demir idmanyurdu the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szolnoki MÁV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Vural Akkoç charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vural Akkoç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
