The supporters of APOEL Nicosia booed when Yellow Red Wall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhsin Özguner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Öztürk Karaca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 王升帆 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Öztürk Karaca made a kick off. Esat Uğurlubay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 王升帆 having to interfere. 王升帆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Öztürk Karaca in the 55th minute of the match. When 楚响亦 came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the APOEL Nicosia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 楚响亦 couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Yellow Red Wall's Öztürk Karaca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 王升帆. 王升帆 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 彭默志 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aktuğ Şahap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 潘思星 scored 1-5 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aktuğ Şahap, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, APOEL Nicosia's 楚响亦 got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Yellow Red Wall's zone, 潘思星 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aktuğ Şahap came out of the goal and 潘思星 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esat Uğurlubay got free with 王升帆 in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, 王升帆 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the APOEL Nicosia defense, Esat Uğurlubay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 王升帆. The APOEL Nicosia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 王升帆 should have stopped the shot.
