Hatta Simamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Conrad Tanui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. High Coniscliffe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSB Bakoeloe the free kick. A collision led to High Coniscliffe getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Conrad Tanui hit a great ball. Fadhly Handoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 minutes, Jawahir Konchellah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the High Coniscliffe and the PSB Bakoeloe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Jawahir Konchellah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jehovah Keino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yustedjo Witoelar having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Hatta Simamora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedan Awino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Yustedjo Witoelar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curtis Akinyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Boyke Asshidiq hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, PSB Bakoeloe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaya Badawi to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, High Coniscliffe's Curtis Akinyi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 38th minute Fadhly Handoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedan Awino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedan Awino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hatta Simamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Hatta Simamora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PSB Bakoeloe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After having played for 44 minutes, Hatta Simamora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSB Bakoeloe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hatta Simamora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fadhly Handoko to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in High Coniscliffe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 50th minute. Penalty! In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for PSB Bakoeloe. Jaya Badawi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dedan Awino. 1-4. If Hatta Simamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind High Coniscliffe's goalkeeper Dedan Awino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jehovah Keino in the 66th minute of play forced PSB Bakoeloe's goalkeeper Yustedjo Witoelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yustedjo Witoelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jehovah Keino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Hatta Simamora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fadhly Handoko might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dedan Awino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fadhly Handoko ran back to his position shaking his head. Hatta Simamora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Dedan Awino made a huge save. Fadhly Handoko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dedan Awino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, High Coniscliffe's goalkeeper Dedan Awino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Itok Meringgi. When the match was over PSB Bakoeloe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than High Coniscliffe throughout the match.
