The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Ramon Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lose Yourself's Alvaro Qwinton got a free kick in the 9th minute. Osvaldo Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Vinhas in the 10th minute of play. Benicio Bernad's late challenge caught a Lose Yourself's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Bernad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute of the match Victoriano Gasteiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Macerio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Edmundo Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Osvaldo Haritz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Edmundo Vinhas could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Osvaldo Haritz however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Lose Yourself's Osvaldo Haritz got control of the ball when Edmundo Vinhas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Edmundo Vinhas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Osvaldo Haritz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Osvaldo Haritz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ramon Amor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Lose Yourself's goalkeeper Osvaldo Haritz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Vinhas. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lose Yourself's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramon Amor was slow to take the kick. During this time Messi Dream Team's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Messi Dream Team's Benicio Bernad got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Alvaro Qwinton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Macerio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baldomiro Gorri hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Lose Yourself's goalkeeper Osvaldo Haritz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Vinhas. In the 33rd minute, Ramon Amor made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Haritz. Lose Yourself's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 38 minutes in the game Andres Hibai did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elpidio Arce. Osvaldo Haritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Elpidio Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lose Yourself's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Messi Dream Team the free kick. In the 40th minute, Elpidio Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Lose Yourself's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Amor came free, but Osvaldo Haritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Haritz came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Messi Dream Team's Ramon Amor. But to his dismay, Ramon Amor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramon Amor hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Vinhas in the 57th minute of play forced Lose Yourself's goalkeeper Osvaldo Haritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57th play minutes Ramon Amor shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Osvaldo Haritz and just under the crossbar into goal. Andres Hibai made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rosendo Matai. Elias Macerio made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Elpidio Arce sent off a good shot on target. Lose Yourself's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Amor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 72 minutes into the game, Messi Dream Team's Edmundo Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Haritz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 80 minutes into the match, Lose Yourself's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Vinhas came free, but Osvaldo Haritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Messi Dream Team's Ramon Amor to fire away a dangerous shot which Osvaldo Haritz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Vinhas in the 82nd minute of play forced Lose Yourself's goalkeeper Osvaldo Haritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Messi Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Gaitan Gabriel. In the 88th minute of the match Rodolfo Bastiaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Haritz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89th match minute, Lose Yourself was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Ihazintu to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Haritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Vinhas in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Lose Yourself's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Amor came free, but Osvaldo Haritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lose Yourself defense, Ramon Amor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Haritz. The Lose Yourself fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Haritz should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Messi Dream Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
