Türkeş Akşit might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Ingemarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Türkeş Akşit ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrik Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Türkeş Akşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Türkeş Akşit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andırın SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Türkeş Akşit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrik Ingemarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenneth McKinnell to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Andırın SK had won after a very even match.
