In the 16th minute, Przemyslaw Gerlach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in de belletrekkers's zone, Emanuel Lucila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara came out of the goal and Emanuel Lucila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kajetan Gdowik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27thth minute of the game Paulus Van Hove who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara was a little too slow when Toro Martínez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toro Martínez got free with De-la-Cruz de Alcântara in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toro Martínez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but De-la-Cruz de Alcântara made a huge save. Daan Vos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of de belletrekkers booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Corleone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marten Merckx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Despidida AFC had won after a very even match.
