August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xan 谢霆锋 in the 15th minute of play. 梅珂庭 made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Hugo Haupt sent off a good shot on target. Xan 谢霆锋's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Hoffmanns read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 王骏坚 ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Xan 谢霆锋 managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆战国☆叛菅洎叛氤氲苴☣FCB ☣'s supporters rose to their feet, but Xan 谢霆锋 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Hoffmanns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xan 谢霆锋 in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Hugo Haupt hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Rot-Weiss-Essen's 梅珂庭 threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximilian Henning, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hakem Al Khames kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Xan 谢霆锋 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anestis Kotsopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when ☆战国☆叛菅洎叛氤氲苴☣FCB ☣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. A hard shot 74 in the game by Xan 谢霆锋 from a close distance when the talented August Hoffmanns managed to make a qualified save. Rot-Weiss-Essen's players were relieved. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Xan 谢霆锋's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
