Ancho Branca was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jedrzej Beninda was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kees Harmsen. The crowd rose to their feet as Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jedrzej Beninda. That made the score 4-0 after 34 minutes of play. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Klawki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jedrzej Beninda was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Toro Martínez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toro Martínez really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Klawki to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Wymiatacze booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Corleone didn't get a good kick on the ball.
