Despite this Mondi Cordoba quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 7th minute, Joaquim Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salamanca UDS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mondi Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamel Espitalier in the 9th minute of the match. Valko Menkadzhiev's late challenge caught a Salamanca UDS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valko Menkadzhiev helped the player get up and apologised. Valko Menkadzhiev kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Kamel Espitalier was slow to take the kick. During this time Salamanca UDS's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Kamel Espitalier got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 59 minutes into the match. Tugay Okkan's late challenge caught a SüRMeNeGüCü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The supporters of SüRMeNeGüCü booed when Salamanca UDS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tugay Okkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mondi Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamel Espitalier, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the SüRMeNeGüCü defense, Kamel Espitalier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mondi Cordoba. The SüRMeNeGüCü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mondi Cordoba should have stopped the shot. Mondi Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Holmstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Saip Baltaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arcan Sefa in the 72nd minute of the match. The corner ended in Max McClellan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Salamanca UDS's Saip Baltaş did a great save. In the 81st minute Joaquim Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mondi Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Kamel Espitalier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salamanca UDS's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamel Espitalier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mondi Cordoba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saip Baltaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukács Guerra in the 83rd minute of the match. When Azmi Tuğtaşı fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salamanca UDS's protests and gave Azmi Tuğtaşı a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Carvalho in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mondi Cordoba saved SüRMeNeGüCü from getting behind. Lukács Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saip Baltaş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
