Elder Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Vennerkvist having to interfere. Sten Vennerkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Sigman to make the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Esbjörn Apelqvist put in a rough tackle.
