Miks Lecis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ascencio Quintas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miks Lecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Ascencio Quintas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miks Lecis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 17 minutes Cometuétano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hanot Perdices who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Cometuétano booed when Vetusta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose-Manuel Jauregui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alcadio Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Miks Lecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ascencio Quintas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miks Lecis. Cometuétano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ascencio Quintas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ray De Lauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argenis Coira, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ray De Lauw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Vera in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Argenis Coira in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray De Lauw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miks Lecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Lei Yuan Zheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd match minute, Vetusta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eneto Candela to maneuver through the defense. Ray De Lauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Paris, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Argenis Coira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vetusta's Ray De Lauw was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ascencio Quintas to strike the kick off in the second half. Vetusta's Ray De Lauw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argenis Coira in the 50th minute of play. Miks Lecis made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Jose-Manuel Jauregui sent off a good shot on target. Vetusta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hanot Perdices in the 52nd minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jose-Manuel Jauregui got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 53 minutes into the match. Miks Lecis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ascencio Quintas's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Miks Lecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leroy Vera during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Cometuétano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leroy Vera to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Leroy Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cometuétano's Miks Lecis got control of the ball when Ascencio Quintas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miks Lecis made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ascencio Quintas sent off a good shot on target. Leroy Vera hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Vetusta's Normando Veloso was substituted for Jose-Manuel Jauregui. After 78 played minutes Cometuétano got a freekick which was hit by Leroy Vera. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alcadio Abajas during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miks Lecis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Veloso in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Vetusta getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nicolás Rua hit a great ball. Ray De Lauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zigor Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Zigor Barroso notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Vetusta's Ray De Lauw. Ray De Lauw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Vetusta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vetusta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
