Melandru de Cenero's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Veremundo Lastras scored to the left of an out of position Andrea Perez, making the score, 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Melandru de Cenero's goal looked a bit too open when Xurxo Lagunas came free, but Andrea Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Xurxo Lagunas sped through Melandru de Cenero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrea Perez. In the 33rdth minute of the game Xurdin Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurdin Pena in the 37th minute of play forced Asturcones d´la Abadía's goalkeeper Ermegildo Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veremundo Lastras in the 39th minute of play. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Cienfuegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Veremundo Lastras hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everett Gerber in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filomeno Tormes made a kick off. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everett Gerber in the 58th minute of play. Xurdin Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Asturcones d´la Abadía's David Valverde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrea Perez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Asturcones d´la Abadía reached it. Ermegildo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xurdin Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xurdin Pena got free with Ermegildo Delgado in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xurdin Pena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ermegildo Delgado made a huge save. Ermegildo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everett Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado got control of the ball when Casimiro Quinchen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casimiro Quinchen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ermegildo Delgado made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Muzaffer Yürük hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Montrel Olmedo was substituted for Angelo Esteban. After 79 played minutes Asturcones d´la Abadía got a freekick which was hit by Muzaffer Yürük. Leonards Štucers hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xurxo Lagunas in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrea Perez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Delgado came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Melandru de Cenero's Xurdin Pena. But to his dismay, Xurdin Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Andrea Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurxo Lagunas in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
