Cometuétano's Miks Lecis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerio Etxeberria in the 22nd minute of play. Rayo Bengala's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigor Barroso in the 23rd minute of play. Policarpio Lama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Cometuétano's Alcadio Abajas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Julen Castellano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rayo Bengala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cometuétano the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zigor Barroso to make the kick off. The supporters of Cometuétano booed when Rayo Bengala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Eli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernard Rienda got free with Miks Lecis in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cometuétano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bernard Rienda 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Nerio Etxeberria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Miks Lecis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, Rayo Bengala's Nerio Etxeberria made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miks Lecis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rayo Bengala's Palacios Bobes was substituted for Policarpio Lama. Miks Lecis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muntis Stiebriņsons in the 94th minute of the match.
