After some careless play in the atletic Luprechauns defense, Bernard Czerny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Bartoli. The atletic Luprechauns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Bartoli should have stopped the shot. Severiano Bartoli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikel Oyarzabal went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Bernard Czerny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Bartoli. atletic Luprechauns's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Czerny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 38 minutes into the match, atletic Luprechauns's goal looked a bit too open when Mikel Oyarzabal came free, but Severiano Bartoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikel Oyarzabal in the 38th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Bernard Czerny put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Severiano Bartoli. After 44 played minutes atletic Luprechauns got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Honrio. In the 45th minute, Bernard Czerny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hombres de Negro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Roque Estavan made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Severiano Bartoli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bernard Czerny in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Severiano Bartoli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 55 minutes into the game, Mikel Oyarzabal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severiano Bartoli. Mikel Oyarzabal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 58th minute, Mikel Oyarzabal made a precise shot to the right of Severiano Bartoli. atletic Luprechauns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Severiano Bartoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Severiano Bartoli was a little too slow when Bernard Czerny got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-11. Hombres de Negro made a substitution. Marco Mendez replaced Mikel Oyarzabal. Eloy Pereyra hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. atletic Luprechauns's Severiano Bartoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save atletic Luprechauns from getting a goal against them. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hombres de Negro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
