An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Matai in the 24th minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Claes Feuereisen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Lose Yourself's Elpidio Arce dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 29th minute of the match, Rosendo Matai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claes Feuereisen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andres Hibai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Claes Feuereisen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Claes Feuereisen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Osvaldo Haritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claes Feuereisen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Hibai in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes AITEC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victoriano Gasteiz who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Moises Todor advanced and headed the ball into goal, 4-0 in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Hibai to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Rosendo Matai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AITEC's Claes Feuereisen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claes Feuereisen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Hibai in the 61st minute of play. Paulo José Rocha's late challenge caught a Lose Yourself's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
