Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Jonah Peck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute, Pascal Dailey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Gunn came free, but Jonah Peck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernie Rosales might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glen Goode. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernie Rosales ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaron Gunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brooklyn SC's Edgar Chandler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joseph Marquez in the 34 minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Clark Lindsey notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Brooklyn SC's Glen Goode. Glen Goode was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brooklyn SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clark Lindsey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clark Lindsey to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgar Chandler hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Clark Lindsey made a precise shot to the right of Glen Goode. Brooklyn SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.
