The referee showed Chance Brewer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 48 played minutes Kerry Lancaster rounded Kentucky Mustangs's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Bill Livingston was substituted for Lorenzo Whitehead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kerry Lancaster to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match Sergio Correa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darin Marks showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tyrone McCracken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Fisher, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melvin Snyder during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Kentucky Mustangs got a freekick which was hit by Melvin Snyder.
