Tomas Landry came out of the goal and Gerardo Beard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astrologer FC's Tomas Landry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dwight Schrute in the 5th minute of play. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Astrologer FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Cole was slow to take the kick. During this time Brooklyn SC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Serginho Ramos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomas Landry quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dwight Schrute hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Tomas Landry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dwight Schrute in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Dwight Schrute left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 32nd minute, Luther Story ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jospeh McNally was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gerardo Beard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Tomas Landry skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Oren Grady's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jospeh McNally was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Arnold came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richie Arnold made a kick off. Tomas Landry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Beard's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Tomas Landry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute.
