El Canalla de Chicago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khachatryan the free kick. Hugo Hubbard hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Petros Oganesyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jermaine Richmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Vilar in the 18th minute of play. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Castro in the 21st minute of play. Merlin Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Wilbur Hyde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jermaine Richmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Vilar in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Domingo Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save El Canalla de Chicago from getting a goal against them. The nice shot from Tigran Kirakosyan in the 41stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Wilbur Hyde had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 46 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Castro came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's Joaquim Vilar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jermaine Richmond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sung McKinley was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Sung McKinley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emmanuel Lockhart kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Shannon. Sung McKinley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilbur Hyde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The Khachatryan fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Khachatryan's Sung McKinley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wilbur Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hu Wei Shu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jermaine Richmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Vilar in the 65th minute of play. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Cary Ackerman replaced Andreas Sanchez. Khachatryan's Kurtis Wooten was substituted for Hu Wei Shu. In the 69th minute of the match Khachatryan got a corner. El Canalla de Chicago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albert Paulíny ran over to the corner to take the kick. 75 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goalkeeper Jermaine Richmond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justin Raines. Justin Raines came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jermaine Richmond could save by the left post. Domingo Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jermaine Richmond made a huge save. With a little luck, Khachatryan's Jermaine Richmond got control of the ball when Justin Raines tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nathan Shannon hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Wawrzyniec Budrewicz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde. Wilbur Hyde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Kurtis Wooten came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Khachatryan were awarded a corner. Albert Paulíny went to the cornerflag to take it. Albert Paulíny made a great header on Khachatryan's corner, it was just that El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 93rd minute, Wawrzyniec Budrewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
