With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sung McKinley in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Wilhelm saved Cascade Park West from getting behind. Jermaine Richmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldo Renteria, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Merlin Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dario Wilhelm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Khachatryan's Jermaine Richmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldo Renteria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 played minutes, Khachatryan's Albert Paulíny shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Khachatryan reached it. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hu Wei Shu in the 64th minute of the match. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Castro in the 66th minute of play. Khachatryan's Wawrzyniec Budrewicz was substituted for Petros Oganesyan. In the 69th minute of the match Khachatryan got a corner. Cascade Park West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albert Paulíny ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Khachatryan's corner Hu Wei Shu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dario Wilhelm quite easily take care of the ball. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Wei Shu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sung McKinley in the 75th minute of play. But to his dismay, Sung McKinley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
