Du Lin took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Belkå. Peter Belkå dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Peter Belkå made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Albom in the 15th minute. FS Elite's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walter Ahlgren in the 17th minute. Peter Belkå made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Adrian Albom sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Falck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iraklis Rapanos in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Kent Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Belkå saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Falck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Jonsson in the 25th minute of play forced FS Elite's goalkeeper Tommy Falck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicholas Huguet kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Iraklis Rapanos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Lite Finare Lite Bättre getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Göransson hit a great ball. Tommy Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraklis Rapanos in the 38th minute of play. When Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Krister Jonsson in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FS Elite's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Åkerström in the 43rd minute of play forced Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Peter Belkå to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krister Jonsson to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Krister Jonsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Falck, 1-2. FS Elite's Tommy Falck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FS Elite from getting a goal against them.
