After 41 minutes of play, Red Bull Salzburg's 傅磊风 made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 叶皓超 was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 47 minutes, 郝鹏奕 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Bull Salzburg and the Slavia Praha players grew even worse after the yellow card. 郝鹏奕 hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The score was now 1-5. 姜鸿霖 kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 叶皓超 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曾升榕 in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Slavia Praha getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. 杜永杰 hit a great ball. In the 78th match minute, Slavia Praha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 周翀朗 to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game 曾升榕 kicked a great long shot which passed 叶皓超 straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-6. One couldn't see 曾升榕 behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. 叶皓超 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 曾升榕, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 曾升榕 struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. 叶皓超 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull Salzburg. Red Bull Salzburg played a much better game than Slavia Praha and deserved their victory. The Slavia Praha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
