Leonel Nogueira started the match with the kick off. Todor Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Suns's Clemente Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Suns from getting a goal against them. Dé de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dé de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dé de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th play minute Todor Abaunza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Clemente Mendonça. 1-0. If Todor Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Suns's goalkeeper Clemente Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Abad. The crowd rose to their feet as Xaven Abascal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente Mendonça. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Clemente Mendonça came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Always Ready's Xaven Abascal. But to his dismay, Xaven Abascal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 31 minutes into the match, Always Ready's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Nogueira came free, but Adelmo Pemjean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelmo Pemjean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Nogueira in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Suns's goal looked a bit too open when Xaven Abascal came free, but Clemente Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Always Ready got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Abellaneda. If Xaven Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Suns's Clemente Mendonça got control of the ball when Lourenco Abello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frechoso Abellaneda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Clemente Mendonça made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaven Abascal in the 44th minute of play forced Suns's goalkeeper Clemente Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Todor Abaunza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Clemente Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xaven Abascal was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xaven Abascal in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todor Abaunza in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Mendonça saved Suns from getting behind. A collision led to Always Ready getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Frechoso Abellaneda hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, Suns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Abellaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Leonel Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suns's protests and gave Leonel Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Xaven Abascal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Mendonça was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Frechoso Abellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaven Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Mendonça having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Suns's zone, Todor Abaunza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Mendonça came out of the goal and Todor Abaunza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, Suns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Suns's Clemente Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todor Abaunza in the 79th minute of play. Frechoso Abellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Clemente Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suns's Clemente Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todor Abaunza in the 86th minute of play. Todor Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiano Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Todor Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Always Ready's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todor Abaunza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaven Abascal in the 96th minute of play forced Suns's goalkeeper Clemente Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Always Ready were the better team. Always Ready's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
