Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonel Nogueira started the match with the kick off. Domingos Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Mendonça having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Domingos Liher made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Mendonça. Suns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Noel da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Suns defense, Domingos Liher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Mendonça. The Suns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Mendonça should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel da Fonseca during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Noel da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jeremias Mitxaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diego Armando FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Mitxaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Diego Armando FC's Placido Sandalio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Diego Armando FC's Fabio Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Nogueira in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Suns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Placido Sandalio scored 0-6 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Domingos Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Domingos Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Jeremias Mitxaut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The Suns players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Diego Armando FC were winning 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Liher made a kick off. Diego Armando FC's Fabio Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Nogueira in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Domingos Liher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suns's Clemente Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th match minute, Suns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Liher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celedonio Vermudo during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Celedonio Vermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Diego Armando FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Sandalio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Suns's Durvalino Cordeiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. A hard shot 77 in the game by Placido Sandalio from a close distance when the talented Clemente Mendonça managed to make a qualified save. Suns's players were relieved. Suns's Leonel Nogueira managed to work through Diego Armando FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leonel Nogueira dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Virgilio Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diego Armando FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Gipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 minutes, Domingos Liher made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Suns's Clemente Mendonça tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Clemente Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Diego Armando FC's Jeremias Mitxaut fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 95 minutes into the match, Diego Armando FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Nogueira came free, but Fabio Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Suns supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Diego Armando FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Diego Armando FC.
