Andrei Măgură recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Nontas Alexatos made a precise shot to the right of Felix Silban. Diego Armando FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Kostas Briakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Silban was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Felix Silban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Kalabalikis in the 42nd minute of play. INTER made a substitution. Sotos Delioridis replaced Markos Kalabalikis. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Kostas Briakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Felix Silban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Mahuzier having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Diego Armando FC's Tiburcio Abaunza got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Bertin in the 97th minute of play forced INTER's goalkeeper Ignacio Mahuzier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INTER played a much better game than Diego Armando FC and deserved their victory. The Diego Armando FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
